Know the numbers.
Before the trade.
Interactive planning tools. Change the inputs to see the arithmetic—not a forecast.
What does your target mean?
Single-period target before costs. Currency changes the display only; no exchange-rate conversion.
Size from your stop.
Whole contracts, rounded down. Check broker margin and contract expiry separately. Stops can slip; this is planned exposure, not a guaranteed loss cap.
The way back isn’t symmetric.
Uses the starting capital from tool 01. Recovery return = drawdown ÷ (1 − drawdown). It describes the required gain, not the time or likelihood of recovery.
Look beyond the win rate.
1R is your chosen risk unit. Inputs should come from a representative trade sample. A positive estimate does not establish an edge or predict future results.
Inputs stay in this page’s memory and are not submitted. No account connection is required.
